In a recent letter to the chapter, Angela Guillory, LSU Assistant Dean/Director of Greek Life, recognized the chapter for giving back to the community through its Halloween Carnival, writing:
Please extend my sincere appreciation to the men of Phi Kappa Psi for the incredible effort on Phi Psi Carnival. You all really took it over the top and it was a tremendous event for families. The positive PR you gained for Phi Psi as well as the LSU Greek community is immeasurable.
The annual event, featuring games, tricks and treats at the Phi Psi house on Lakeshore Drive, is open to public at no charge and was attended by hundreds of Baton Rouge families. Mark Phillips LSU ’94, the chapter’s fraternity education advisor said, “the Halloween carnival was, in my opinion, the best one yet.”
