The Great Joy of Serving Others

Few brothers personify Phi Kappa Psi’s motto, “The Great Joy of Serving Others,” more than E. Wade Shows LSU ’69 #46. In 1991 Wade led the Louisiana Alpha house corporation’s effort to purchase the AZD house on LSU’s sorority row. Afterwards he served as the house corporation president for twenty years, helping hundreds of brothers benefit from the life-long friendships and learning that come through the fraternal living experience. Today the Phi Psi house is one of the premier fraternity properties at LSU.

Honor Wade’s example of serving others by volunteering to work with our undergraduate brothers. The LSU chapter needs the following:

  • Alumni to assist with fall recruitment. (Visit our Big Tent site for dates and contact info.)

  • Accountants
  • Assistant fraternity education advisors
  • Alumni relations advisor
